Pumpkin In the Night

Description

This project was fun but definitely had it challenges. The footage was shot at night with very little light. This lead to significant difficultys with tracking the head. Eventually, I managed to get a somewhat decent track using geomtry tracking in sytheyes. The track was still unstable and had to be cleaned manually.

Simulation was done in both Houdini and in Blender, additinally rendering was done in blender. Fluid simulation was handled in Houdini with smoke being done in Blender.

Composting was done in Fusion, in addition to combining the render layers, a light that was in the footage needed to be removed.

I did everything except create the pumpkin model
